Millog and Parmaco have joined forces to develop secure rooms designed for the safe and confidential handling of critical data.

According to a joint press release, the solution enables secure meetings and the electronic processing of sensitive information using commercial off-the-shelf equipment, without requiring additional shielding.

Electronic information systems emit electromagnetic radiation, known as electrical emanations, which can expose them to surveillance or interference.

Emanation security refers to the countermeasures used to prevent unauthorised interception and interpretation of unintended data-bearing signals, including electromagnetic, acoustic and optical emissions generated by electronic equipment.

The rooms, marketed under the name Safecell, are constructed using prefabricated modular elements supplied by Parmaco. The structure integrates Parmaco’s patented Fixcel steel cell technology alongside electrically conductive adhesives and sealing compounds designed to enhance shielding performance.
